Recently on Facebook Amitabh Bachchan thank the leading dairy brand of India, ‘Amul’ for their latest ad campaign that featured him.
In the recent Amul’s ad cartoon, the advertisement featured Amul girl leaning on the actor who was seen wearing his signature churidar kurta and shawl. He flashed a thumbs-up sign. The ad, a homecoming gift for the actor, was captioned as “AB beats C”.
On which Bachchan wrote on Facebook while sharing the ad. “Thank you, Amul for continuously thinking of me in your unique poster campaigns … varshon se Amul ne sammanit kiya hai mujhe ek sadharan shakshiyat ko amulya banaa diya mujhe,”
But a troll who may think that the ad was paid, has written, “Kam se kam muft mein toh amulya nahin bane honge… tay rakam li hogi…Saal-dar-saal badhi hogi .”
Reacting to the troll, the actor commented that he has never campaigned for the dairy brand.
He wrote, “Bahut badi galat faimi mein chal rahe hain aap, miyan. Jab sach na maloom ho toh aapne swachh mukh ko swachh rakhiye! Na to main Amul ko endorse karta hoon aur na kabhi kiya hain. Teer chalaane se pehle soch samajh lena chahiye, nahin toh woh aap pe hi aakar geerega, jaise ki ab hua hai. Teer ki jagah, jo muhawraa is vishaye par, woh kisi aur padaarth ka varnan karta hai. Meri sabhya parvarish ne mujhe us ka varnan karne se rok diya .”
