Mumbai police chief Param Bir Singh said “It has come to surface that Sushant Singh Rajput had bipolar disorder, he was undergoing treatment and taking medicines for it. What circumstances led to his death is the subject of our investigation,”
On 14th July, Sushant Singh Rajput found hanging at his Bandra residence, Mumbai police said Sushan had googled several words related to death and mental disorder towards the end. The police said he had googled “painless death” and mental illness in his final days, and, in his last few hours, he had done searches on his own name.
Mumbai police said Sushan had also googled the name of his former manager Disha Salian. who committed suicide and died on June 8 –
Police said the details have emerged from his mobile phone and laptop. The police said his Google searches revealed he may have been worried about speculation connecting him to Disha Salian, who died after a fall from the 14th floor of her building.
The Mumbai Police Commissioner said: “All bank statements from January 2019 to June 2020 have been analysed. There were around Rs 14.5 crore credit in the account.” The police also mentioned that there is a fixed deposit of 4 crores too.” IANS
